Miles Overview
The 6 Series is BMW's grand-touring coupe, offered as a two-door, a convertible, and the four-door Gran Coupe. It's a car that feels more at home on a long, sweeping highway than a tight canyon road, which suits its luxury mission. Inside, the cabin is quiet and well-finished, with comfortable seats and plenty of room up front, though rear space is tight in the coupe. Expect premium maintenance costs and the need for run-flat tires, but the 6 Series holds its value reasonably well. The Gran Coupe gives you four real doors and a usable back seat, which the two-door 640i doesn't, while keeping the same long, low profile. The 3.0L I6 makes 315 horsepower and pairs with the eight-speed automatic, good for 24 mpg combined on the highway and a relaxed, quiet cruise.
