Miles Overview
The 4 Series is BMW's compact luxury coupe, convertible, and Gran Coupe, sized between the 3 Series sedan and the larger 6 Series. It's the kind of car that makes you take the long way home, with sharp steering and a chassis that feels eager in every body style. The cabin is driver-focused and well-built, though rear seats are snug, especially in the coupe and convertible. Every 2019 4 Series gets BMW's iDrive 6.0 with a touchscreen and rotary controller, plus Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as options. The 430i xDrive gives up the 440i's six-cylinder for the 2.0L I4, saving several thousand dollars while keeping all-wheel drive traction. The 2.0L I4 pairs with a eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, delivering 248 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels for confident all-weather grip. It's the only 4 Series coupe with xDrive and the four-cylinder, so you get the fuel economy of 27 mpg combined without giving up winter capability.
