Miles Overview
The 4 Series is BMW's compact luxury coupe, convertible, and Gran Coupe, the two-door and four-door-coupe take on the Audi A5 and Mercedes C-Class coupe. It's a car that rewards a spirited drive, with crisp steering and a chassis that feels balanced and eager through corners. The ride is firm but controlled, so you'll feel the road, but it stays composed on long trips. Inside, the cabin is well-built with quality materials, and the Gran Coupe's hatchback adds real practicality to the sleek roofline. The 430i Gran Coupe trades the 440i's six-cylinder for a 2.0L I4, saving thousands at purchase and returning 27 mpg combined. Its 248 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque go through a smooth eight-speed automatic to the rear wheels, making it quick enough for daily driving without the thirst of the six.
