Miles Overview
The 4 Series is BMW's compact luxury coupe, convertible, and four-door Gran Coupe, the sportier sibling to the 3 Series sedan. It's the kind of car that makes you take the long way home, with sharp steering and a chassis that feels eager through corners. The cabin is driver-focused and well-built, though rear seats are snug in the coupe and convertible, so plan for occasional passengers. The Gran Coupe's hatchback opens wide, giving it far more cargo room than the coupe or convertible for everyday hauling. The 428i Gran Coupe is the four-door hatchback version of the coupe, giving you the same sporty driving feel with a much more practical trunk opening. The Gran Coupe's hatchback and fold-down rear seats turn it into a surprisingly capable hauler, easily swallowing a bike or furniture flat-pack.
