Miles Overview
The 4 Series is BMW's compact luxury coupe, convertible, and four-door Gran Coupe, the sportier sibling to the 3 Series sedan. It's the kind of car that makes you take the long way home, with sharp steering and a chassis that feels eager through corners. The cabin is driver-focused and well-built, though rear seats are snug in the coupe and convertible, so plan for occasional passengers. The Gran Coupe's hatchback opens wide, giving it far more cargo room than the coupe or convertible for everyday hauling. The 3.0L I6 makes 300 horsepower and its 300 lb-ft of torque comes on strong from just off idle, with the eight-speed automatic swapping gears smoothly in everyday traffic or holding a gear through corners.
