Miles Overview
The 4 Series is BMW's compact luxury coupe, convertible, and four-door Gran Coupe, the sportier sibling to the 3 Series sedan. It's the kind of car that makes you take the long way home, with sharp steering and a chassis that feels eager through corners. The cabin is driver-focused and well-built, though rear seats are snug in the coupe and convertible, so plan for occasional passengers. The Gran Coupe's hatchback opens wide, giving it far more cargo room than the coupe or convertible for everyday hauling. The 428i xDrive convertible gives you all-weather grip and open-air driving, while the rear-drive 428i is lighter and cheaper. Its 2.0L I4 makes 241 horsepower and pairs with the eight-speed automatic, and the all-wheel drive adds confidence in rain or snow. The convertible's power soft top operates at speeds up to 30 mph, so you can drop it without pulling over.
