Miles Overview
The 2015 3 Series is BMW's compact executive sedan, offered in both sedan and wagon body styles with a choice of rear- or all-wheel drive. It competes with the Audi A4, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and Lexus IS, but stands apart with its sharp steering and balanced chassis. The 3 Series delivers crisp turn-in and composed body control, making it one of the most engaging cars in its class. Inside, the cabin is driver-focused with high-quality materials, supportive seats, and a straightforward iDrive system. The 328i xDrive is the all-wheel-drive version of the mid-range 328i, giving up a bit of fuel economy for grip in rain and snow. Its 2.0L I4 makes 241 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, routed through an eight-speed automatic to all four wheels, and it returns 26 mpg combined. The xDrive system sends power to the rear wheels in normal driving and shifts torque forward when you need traction, so it feels rear-driven until it's not.
