Miles Overview
The 2 Series is BMW's entry-level coupe and convertible, and the Gran Coupe is the four-door version of the same idea. It's the most playful BMW you can buy, with sharp steering and a rear-drive feel that makes it genuinely fun on a back road. The cabin is snug but well built, and the coupe's back seat is best for kids or small adults. The infotainment is easy to use, and you get a digital gauge cluster and Apple CarPlay on most trims. The M240i splits the difference between the 230i and the full M2, giving you a stronger engine without the track-focused firmness of the M2. Its 3.0L I6 makes 335 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, and with the eight-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive it'll hit 60 mph in about 4.4 seconds. The convertible body style means you lose the coupe's trunk pass-through, but you get open-air driving with the top down in about 20 seconds.
