Miles Overview
The 2 Series is BMW's compact coupe and convertible, the smallest rear-drive-based car in the lineup. It's a genuinely engaging car to drive, with quick steering and a chassis that feels eager and balanced. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade for how well it corners. The cabin is snug but well-built, with a clean layout and quality materials throughout. The convertible body and standard power soft top set the 230i apart from the coupe version of the same trim. Its 2.0L I4 makes 248 horsepower and pairs with a smooth eight-speed automatic, sending power to the rear wheels for a classic sports-car feel. Expect the convertible's extra weight and less rigid body to soften the handling edge compared to the coupe.
