Miles Overview
The 2 Series is BMW's compact coupe and convertible, the smallest rear-drive-based car in the lineup. It's a genuinely engaging car to drive, with quick steering and a chassis that feels eager and balanced. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade for how well it corners. The cabin is snug but well-built, with a clean layout and quality materials throughout. The M240i xDrive gives up the hardcore track focus of the full M2 for a lower price and all-weather grip, while keeping the same potent engine. Its 3.0L I6 produces 335 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, routed through a eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, which means strong acceleration and confident traction in any weather. The xDrive system sends power to the rear wheels in normal driving and shifts torque forward when needed, so it feels rear-biased until you ask for grip.
