Miles Overview
The 2 Series is BMW's compact coupe and convertible, the smallest rear-drive-based car in the lineup. It's a genuinely engaging car to drive, with quick steering and a chassis that feels eager and balanced. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade for how well it corners. The cabin is snug but well-built, with a clean layout and quality materials throughout. With 335 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque routed through the eight-speed automatic to the rear wheels, this coupe hits 60 mph in about 4.4 seconds and still returns 24 mpg combined. The M240i comes with a standard M Sport suspension that firms things up noticeably, so expect a taut ride that rewards smooth roads more than rough ones.
