Miles Overview
The 2 Series is BMW's compact two-door, offered as a coupe or convertible, and it's the smallest rear-drive-based car in the lineup. It's a sharp little driver's car, with quick steering and a balanced chassis that makes it feel playful on a back road. The ride is on the firm side, especially with the M Sport suspension, but that's the trade for how flat it stays in corners. Inside, the cabin is snug but well put together, and the back seats are best left for short trips or extra cargo. The 230i is the base 2 Series, so you get the 2.0L I4 instead of the M240i's six-cylinder, but it's still a lively rear-drive coupe.
