Miles Overview
The 2 Series is BMW's compact coupe and convertible, the smallest rear-drive-based car in the lineup. It's a genuinely engaging car to drive, with quick steering and a chassis that feels eager and balanced. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade for how well it corners. The cabin is snug but well-built, with a clean layout and quality materials throughout. The 230i is the entry point to the 2 Series coupe, trading the M240i's six-cylinder for a four-cylinder that still delivers strong real-world response. Its 2.0L I4 makes 248 horsepower and pairs with a smooth eight-speed automatic, sending power to the rear wheels for a lively, balanced feel on a back road.
