Miles Overview
The 2021 2 Series is BMW's entry-level coupe and convertible, with the Gran Coupe sedan body style added for those who want four doors. It's the most playful BMW you can buy, with a balance that makes back roads feel like a playground. The cabin is snug but well built, with supportive seats and a clean layout that puts everything within easy reach. Rear seats are tight, so it's best for two people or occasional back-seat use, and the coupe's trunk is modest. The 230i is the coupe for drivers who want the lightest, most playful 2 Series without the M240i's extra weight and cost. Its 2.0L I4 makes 248 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, routed through a eight-speed automatic to the rear wheels for a lively, balanced feel that rewards smooth inputs. The standard suspension is compliant enough for daily use, and the coupe body keeps weight down to 3,386 pounds for sharp turn-in.
