Miles Overview
The 2025 BMW 2 Series is the brand's compact sports coupe and four-door Gran Coupe, slotting below the 3 Series. It goes up against the Audi A3, Mercedes-Benz CLA, and the Toyota GR Supra for buyers who want a small, sporty premium car. The 2 Series is a driver's car, with quick steering, a balanced chassis, and strong brakes that make it genuinely fun on a back road. The ride is firm, especially on the M240i, but that tautness is the price of its sharp handling. Inside, the 2 Series offers a clean, driver-focused cabin with supportive seats and a straightforward iDrive system. The 228 xDrive Gran Coupe gets the four-door body and standard all-wheel drive, while the 230i coupe is RWD and a bit lighter. Its 2.0L I4 makes 241 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, routed through a seven-speed automatic to all four wheels, and returns 30 mpg combined. Adaptive M Suspension is standard here, so the ride stays controlled without being harsh over broken pavement.
