Miles Overview
The 7 Series is BMW's flagship sedan, the one that goes up against the Mercedes S-Class and Audi A8. It's a big car that shrinks around you on a twisty road, with steering that's precise and a ride that's more controlled than floaty. The cabin is a tech showcase, with a curved display, available rear-seat theater screen, and crystal-like interior trim. You get a proper sedan trunk, and the back seat is genuinely spacious for adults. Its 3.0L I6 makes 375 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque, routed through a eight-speed automatic to the rear wheels, and it returns 28 mpg combined. Rear-wheel drive keeps the steering light and the front end eager to turn, which is the trade-off for less traction in snow.
