Miles Overview
The 2 Series is BMW's compact coupe and convertible, the smallest rear-drive car in the lineup for 2016. It's the kind of car that makes you take the long way home, with sharp steering and a balanced chassis. The cabin is snug but well laid out, with supportive seats and a clean dashboard that puts the driver first. The coupe's trunk is modest, and the convertible's is smaller still, so pack light for weekend trips. A track-ready suspension and the most powerful six-cylinder in the lineup set the M235i apart from the 228i. The 3.0L I6 makes 320 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque, routed through the eight-speed automatic to the rear wheels, and you'll feel every bit of it on a back road. The convertible body adds open-air fun but cuts trunk space and adds weight, so expect the coupe to feel a bit sharper.
