Miles Overview
The 2 Series is BMW's compact coupe and convertible, the entry point into the brand's rear-drive sports cars. It's the rare small BMW that still feels eager and tossable, with sharp steering and a balance that makes back roads fun. The cabin is snug but well built, with supportive seats and a clean layout; rear seats are tight, and the convertible's trunk is small. Standard tech includes a crisp iDrive screen, Bluetooth, and a rearview camera, with available navigation and driver aids. The 228i xDrive trades the M235i's six-cylinder punch for a lighter nose and lower price, while adding all-weather grip the rear-drive cars don't have. Its 2.0L I4 makes 240 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque, routed through a eight-speed automatic to all four wheels, which gives it confident traction in rain or snow.
