Miles Overview
The 2 Series is BMW's compact coupe and convertible, the entry point into the brand's rear-drive sports cars. It's the rare small BMW that still feels eager and tossable, with sharp steering and a balance that makes back roads fun. The cabin is snug but well built, with supportive seats and a clean layout; rear seats are tight, and the convertible's trunk is small. Standard tech includes a crisp iDrive screen, Bluetooth, and a rearview camera, with available navigation and driver aids. The 3.0L I6 pairs with a quick-shifting eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive to launch hard out of corners; expect 24 mpg combined in mixed driving. The M235i xDrive gets a stiffer suspension and an M Sport exhaust that crackles on upshifts, but the ride is firm enough that you'll feel rough pavement.
