Miles Overview
The 2 Series is BMW's compact coupe and convertible, the smallest rear-drive car in the lineup for 2016. It's the kind of car that makes you take the long way home, with sharp steering and a balanced chassis. The cabin is snug but well laid out, with supportive seats and a clean dashboard that puts the driver first. The coupe's trunk is modest, and the convertible's is smaller still, so pack light for weekend trips. The 228i xDrive is the all-weather version of the base coupe, adding traction for snow and rain that the rear-drive 228i doesn't have. Its 2.0L I4 makes 241 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque, routed through an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive that together return 27 mpg combined.
