Miles Overview
The 2 Series is BMW's compact coupe and convertible, the entry point into the brand's rear-drive sports cars. It's the rare small BMW that still feels eager and tossable, with sharp steering and a balance that makes back roads fun. The cabin is snug but well built, with supportive seats and a clean layout; rear seats are tight, and the convertible's trunk is small. Standard tech includes a crisp iDrive screen, Bluetooth, and a rearview camera, with available navigation and driver aids. All-wheel drive and a slightly higher ride height set the 228i xDrive apart from the rear-drive 228i, making it the one to pick if you face snow or wet roads. Its 2.0L I4 makes 240 horsepower and pairs with a smooth eight-speed automatic, and the xDrive system sends power to all four wheels for confident traction in any weather.
