Miles Overview
The 5 Series is BMW's mid-size luxury sedan, the one that splits the difference between the 3 Series and the 7 Series. It's a car that feels smaller than it is from the driver's seat, with quick steering and a planted feel that makes long trips easy. Inside, the cabin is roomy and well laid out, with supportive seats and plenty of space for four adults. The iDrive infotainment system is one of the easiest to use, with a rotary controller and crisp graphics. The 530i xDrive is the entry-level all-wheel-drive 5 Series, sitting just above the rear-drive 530i and below the six-cylinder 540i models. Its 2.0L I4 makes 248 horsepower and pairs with a smooth eight-speed automatic, and with all-wheel drive it delivers sure-footed traction in rain or snow while returning 26 mpg combined.
