Miles Overview
The 2 Series is BMW's entry-level coupe and gran coupe, the smallest cars in the lineup and the ones that feel most like a driver's tool. It's the rare small BMW that still handles like a BMW, with sharp steering and a balanced chassis that makes back roads fun. Inside, the cabin is snug but well built, with supportive seats and a clean dashboard layout that puts everything within reach. The gran coupe body adds a practical hatchback trunk, while the coupe keeps the classic two-door look with a smaller cargo opening. The M235i xDrive Gran Coupe gets a more powerful 2.0L I4 over the 228i, along with the xDrive all-wheel-drive system that's standard here. Its 2.0L I4 makes 302 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque, routed through a eight-speed automatic to all four wheels, and it'll hit 60 mph in the low four-second range. BMW rates it at 26 mpg combined, which is respectable for the power, and the hatchback body makes the gran coupe more versatile than the two-door coupe.
