Miles Overview
The 2018 Audi A5 is a compact luxury car offered as a coupe, convertible, and hatchback, competing with the BMW 4 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Drivers praise the A5's tight steering and well-calibrated suspension, noting it handles corners with confidence and composure. The interior is a highlight, with high-quality materials and a sleek, modern design, though the backseat is a bit cramped. Cargo space is on the small side, especially in the coupe, so plan accordingly if you need to haul more than a couple of bags. Stepping up from the Premium brings the Premium Plus, which adds a larger infotainment screen, blind-spot monitoring, and keyless entry with push-button start. The 2.0L I4 sends 252 horsepower through a seven-speed automatic to all four wheels, and the convertible body style adds open-air fun without losing the A5's composed handling. The Premium Plus can be optioned with Audi's Virtual Cockpit digital gauge cluster, which replaces the traditional instrument panel with a customizable display.
