Miles Overview
Inside, you get the same clean, well-built cabin as the regular A3, with supportive seats and a tidy layout, though rear legroom is a bit tight for tall passengers. Running costs are lower than a gas-only A3 if you plug in regularly, since the electric range covers short commutes and the combined rating is strong for a luxury car. The Premium is the trim for buyers who want plug-in efficiency and Audi refinement without spending for the Prestige's extra luxuries. The 1.4L I4 plug-in hybrid and six-speed automatic deliver smooth, near-silent electric starts, and you can do short commutes on battery alone, with the gas engine ready for longer trips. At $42,000, the Premium skips the Prestige's optional adaptive cruise and upgraded audio, but you still get that same refined hatchback interior.
