Miles Overview
It's the kind of car that makes you find excuses to take the long way home, with eager turn-in and a planted feel. Up front there's plenty of room, and the interior feels rich, but the rear seat is really only for small kids or packages. Owners mention a few minor gripes like a rearview mirror that can detach, but most report trouble-free miles. If you want the loaded S5 convertible with all the tech and luxury extras, the Prestige is the one to pick over the Premium Plus. The 3.0L I6 makes 333 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque, and the seven-speed automatic pairs with all-wheel drive to give you confident all-weather grip; expect 21 mpg combined. The Prestige adds adaptive cruise control and a Bang & Olufsen sound system, but the convertible's extra weight means the ride is a touch softer than the coupe's.
