Miles Overview
The 2011 A8 is Audi's flagship sedan, a full-size luxury car that goes up against the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class. It's a big car that shrinks around you on the road, with a calm, planted feel and quiet confidence at highway speeds. Inside, the cabin is a genuinely special place, with rich materials and a design that feels more like a lounge than a car. The trunk is on the small side for the class, and the opening can make loading bulky items a bit awkward. The L is the long-wheelbase version, adding nearly five inches of rear legroom over the standard A8 while keeping the same 4.2L V8.
