Miles Overview
The 2004 A8 is Audi's flagship sedan, the one that goes up against the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes S-Class. It's a big car that shrinks around you on a twisty road, with Quattro grip that makes it feel planted in any weather. The cabin is a genuinely nice place to sit, with leather that holds up remarkably well even after years of use. The transmission can be a weak point, and some owners have faced costly repairs for vacuum leaks behind the engine. The 2004 A8 comes as a single well-equipped trim, so you're getting the full flagship experience without having to pick between packages. Its 4.2L I8 makes 335 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, giving you effortless highway passing and all-weather confidence. The adaptive air suspension is standard here, which lets you choose between a cushy ride and a firmer setting for back-road fun.
