Miles Overview
The 2013 A3 is Audi's compact wagon, a practical alternative to the sedan that still feels upscale. It zips around corners with surprising agility, and the manual gearbox is a joy to shift. The ride is comfortable on most roads, though the cabin can get a bit loud over coarse surfaces. Inside, you get a stylish cabin with supportive front seats, but the back seat is snug for adults. The Premium Plus is the one to get if you want the 2.0L I4 with all-wheel drive, while the Premium trim offers the same engine with front-wheel drive. With 211 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque routed through a six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, this A3 feels eager and planted in all weather. It's rated at 24 mpg combined, which is reasonable for a compact wagon with this much grip.
