Miles Overview
The A8 is Audi's flagship full-size sedan, the one that goes up against the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class. It's a big car that shrinks around you on the highway, with a calm, confident feel at speed and a quiet cabin. The air suspension soaks up rough pavement beautifully, and the seats are some of the most comfortable in the business. Inside, the A8 gives you a huge rear seat and a dashboard covered in high-quality materials, with dual touchscreens handling most controls. The Base is the A8 most shoppers will choose, giving up the V8 of the S8 for a smoother, more efficient daily driver. Its 3.0L I6 makes 335 horsepower and routes through all-wheel drive, which together with the mild-hybrid system returns 22 mpg combined. The adaptive air suspension is standard here, so you get that pillowy ride without stepping up to a higher trim.
