Miles Overview
The 2017 A4 is Audi's compact luxury sedan, the one you cross-shop with the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C-Class. It's genuinely enjoyable to drive, with sharp steering and a chassis that feels eager through corners. Inside, the cabin is a highlight: high-quality materials, comfortable seats, and a surprisingly large trunk. Some owners mention the back seat feels cramped and that electronics can act up as the car ages. The Ultra Premium is the efficiency-focused A4, trading some power for better fuel economy than the Premium and Premium Plus trims. Its turbocharged 2.0L I4 makes 190 horsepower and drives the front wheels through an automatic transmission, returning 31 mpg combined. Expect a softer, more comfort-oriented ride than the sportier trims, which suits the Ultra Premium's relaxed character.
