Miles Overview
The 2017 A4 is Audi's compact luxury sedan, the one you cross-shop with the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C-Class. It's genuinely enjoyable to drive, with sharp steering and a chassis that feels eager through corners. Inside, the cabin is a highlight: high-quality materials, comfortable seats, and a surprisingly large trunk. Some owners mention the back seat feels cramped and that electronics can act up as the car ages. Front-wheel drive and a lower starting price distinguish the Premium from the AWD Premium Plus and Prestige trims above it. Its 2.0L I4 makes 252 horsepower and pairs with a seven-speed automatic, returning 28 mpg combined. The Premium skips the Virtual Cockpit digital dash you get on higher trims, so expect traditional analog gauges.
