Miles Overview
The 2016 A4 is Audi's compact luxury sedan, the one most people cross-shop with the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C-Class. It's genuinely engaging to drive, with sharp steering and a chassis that makes you want to find the next corner. Inside, the cabin feels upscale and modern, with comfortable seats and a trunk that swallows a surprising amount of luggage. Reliability is generally good, though some owners mention electrical gremlins and the need for timely oil changes to avoid sludge. Quattro all-wheel drive and the S Line appearance package set the S Line Premium Plus apart from the front-drive Premium and Premium Plus trims below it. The 2.0L I4 makes 220 horsepower and pairs with a snappy eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, which gives you confident traction in rain or snow. The S Line trim adds sharper exterior styling and a sportier suspension tune, though the ride is firmer than the standard A4's.
