Miles Overview
The S6 is Audi's midsize performance sedan, the one you'd cross-shop with the BMW 550i or Mercedes E43 AMG. It's a quiet, composed cruiser that turns into a serious weapon when you put your foot down, though the steering feels a bit numb and artificial. Reliability reports are mixed, with some owners praising dependability while others mention serious engine issues, so a thorough check is wise. The Premium Plus trim includes the full S6 performance hardware, plus niceties like heated seats and a panoramic sunroof that the base A6 doesn't offer. Its 4.0L I8 makes 450 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque, routed through a seven-speed automatic and all-wheel drive that delivers the claimed 21 mpg combined combined. Audi's adaptive air suspension is optional on the Premium Plus, a worthwhile upgrade that firms things up without ruining the ride.
