2015 Audi A3 Premium Plus

The A3 is Audi's entry-level model, a compact sedan or convertible that competes with the Mercedes-Benz CLA and BMW 2 Series. It feels eager and nimble around town, with quick steering and a chassis that stays composed on back roads. Inside, you get a clean, modern dashboard with quality materials and comfortable front seats, though rear legroom is tight. Some owners have had issues with the starter motor and other electrical gremlins, so it's worth a thorough check. Stepping up to the Premium Plus gets you leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, and the MMI infotainment system with a retractable screen. Its 2.0L I4 makes 220 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, routed through a six-speed automatic to all four wheels, and it returns 27 mpg combined. Audi drive select lets you adjust the throttle and steering response, so you can dial in a sportier feel when you want it.
