Miles Overview
The A5 is Audi's two-door coupe, a style-focused alternative to the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class of its era. It's a genuinely enjoyable car to drive, with a smooth powertrain and steering that feels just right, though the ride is on the firmer side. Inside, you get supportive leather seats and a quality cabin, but storage is tight and the MMI infotainment takes some getting used to. Some owners note higher-than-expected oil consumption and occasional electrical issues, so a careful check of service history is wise. The A5 coupe is the style pick for someone who wants a two-door without stepping up to the S5's extra power and cost. Its 3.2L I6 makes 265 horsepower and sends power through a six-speed manual or six-speed Tiptronic to all-wheel drive, which gives it sure-footed grip in any weather. The ride is firm but controlled, which is the trade-off for the coupe's tidy handling and planted feel through corners.
