Miles Overview
The S5 is Audi's mid-size performance coupe and convertible, a step above the A5 for buyers who want more punch without leaving the luxury lane. Inside, the cabin feels upscale with quality materials, and the front seats are comfortable even for taller drivers, though the rear seat is tight for adults. Owners like the quiet, refined engine and the way the interior holds up, though some mention the ride is firm and the rear seats are best for kids. Stepping up to the S5 Premium Plus convertible adds the quattro all-wheel-drive system and a more powerful sound system over the base Premium trim. Its 3.0L I6 makes 333 horsepower, and the seven-speed automatic shifts quickly, making this coupe feel genuinely quick in a straight line. The convertible's power soft top operates in about 15 seconds, so you can drop it at a stoplight without fuss.
