Miles Overview
The 2018 Audi A5 is a compact luxury car offered as a coupe, convertible, and hatchback, competing with the BMW 4 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Drivers praise the A5's tight steering and well-calibrated suspension, noting it handles corners with confidence and composure. The interior is a highlight, with high-quality materials and a sleek, modern design, though the backseat is a bit cramped. Cargo space is on the small side, especially in the coupe, so plan accordingly if you need to haul more than a couple of bags. The 2.0L I4 makes 252 horsepower and pairs with a quick-shifting seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, sending power to all four wheels via Audi's quattro system; expect 27 mpg combined in mixed driving. Audi drive select lets you adjust throttle and steering response, and the hatchback body gives you a power tailgate and a 40/20/40 split-folding rear seat for extra versatility.
