Miles Overview
The A3 is Audi's entry-level model, a compact sedan or convertible that competes with the BMW 2 Series and Mercedes-Benz CLA. It feels nimble and eager through corners, with quick steering and a firm, controlled ride that stays composed on rough roads. Inside, you get a clean, modern dashboard with quality materials, but rear legroom is tight and the trunk is small for the class. Standard automated emergency braking is included, and the slim roof pillars give you excellent visibility all around. The Premium is the base A3, and it's the one to pick if you want the same sharp handling without paying for the extra power of the Premium Plus. Under the hood is a turbocharged 2.0L I4 making 184 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque, paired with a seven-speed automatic that shifts smoothly and gets 29 mpg combined. This one is front-wheel drive, so you'll get slightly better fuel economy than the Quattro models, though you'll lose some all-weather grip.
