Miles Overview
The 2016 A4 is Audi's compact luxury sedan, the one most people cross-shop with the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C-Class. It's genuinely engaging to drive, with sharp steering and a chassis that makes you want to find the next corner. Inside, the cabin feels upscale and modern, with comfortable seats and a trunk that swallows a surprising amount of luggage. Reliability is generally good, though some owners mention electrical gremlins and the need for timely oil changes to avoid sludge. A lower starting price and standard features like a 6.5-inch display set the Premium apart from the Premium Plus and S Line trims above it. Its 2.0L I4 makes 220 horsepower and routes it through an automatic transmission to the front wheels, which keeps weight down and returns 25 mpg combined.
