Miles Overview
The A8 is Audi's flagship full-size luxury sedan, the one you cross-shop with the Mercedes S-Class and BMW 7 Series. It's a big sedan that shrinks around you on the road, with a calm, quiet ride and effortless acceleration. The cabin is a showpiece of modern design, with dual touchscreens, rich materials, and generous space for four adults. Some owners note road noise over rough surfaces, which is a small blemish on an otherwise serene experience. The L 60 is the step up from the L 55, trading the base V6 for this 4.0L V8 and extra power. Its 4.0L I8 makes 453 horsepower and 487 lb-ft of torque, and the eight-speed automatic pairs with all-wheel drive for strong, smooth acceleration. Expect around 18 mpg combined with this V8, which is typical for a full-size luxury sedan of this size.
