Miles Overview
The A8 is Audi's full-size flagship sedan, the one that goes up against the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class. It's a big car that shrinks around you on the road, with strong acceleration and a calm, confident gait. The air suspension soaks up bumps beautifully, though on rough pavement you'll hear a bit of road noise. Inside, the cabin is hushed and opulent, with plush leather and a back seat that's genuinely limousine-like. The Base trim gives up the L's more powerful V6 for the 3.0L I6, but you still get Audi's full-size luxury and all-wheel drive for thousands less. Its 3.0L I6 makes 335 horsepower and pairs with automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, delivering smooth, quiet acceleration that's plenty for daily driving. Fuel economy is a solid 22 mpg combined, and the standard air suspension keeps the ride plush even on worn pavement.
