Miles Overview
The 2019 Q7 is Audi's three-row luxury SUV, slotting between the Q5 and the flagship Q8. It competes with the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, and Volvo XC90, offering a more family-oriented cabin than some rivals. The Q7 drives with the composure of a smaller Audi, though the steering is light and could use more feedback. The cabin is opulent with high-quality materials, but the third row is tight and cargo space is limited with all seats up. A 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a dual-screen infotainment setup are available, along with a suite of driver assists. The Prestige sits above the Premium and Premium Plus trims, adding the head-up display, adaptive cruise with Traffic Jam assist, and a top-view camera system as standard. Its 3.0L V6 makes 329 horsepower and pairs with a smooth eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, enough to move this SUV with authority, while rated at 21 mpg combined. The Prestige's standard head-up display projects navigation and driver-assist info onto the windshield, a feature you won't get on lower trims.
