Miles Overview
The 2016 Q5 is Audi's compact luxury SUV, the one you cross-shop with the BMW X3 and Mercedes GLC. The cabin feels upscale and well-built, with comfortable seats and a clean, intuitive layout that's easy to live with. Some owners have reported issues like a frozen steering column or a cracked navigation screen, though these were covered under warranty. The Premium Plus sits a step above the base Premium with more standard tech and luxury features, but it's still below the top Prestige trim. Its 2.0L I4 makes 220 horsepower and routes power through a smooth eight-speed automatic to all-wheel drive, a setup that feels eager around town and relaxed on the highway. You get Audi’s MMI Navigation plus with voice control and a Bose 505-watt sound system as standard on this trim, so cabin tech is a step up from the entry model.
