Miles Overview
The 2019 Q5 is Audi's compact luxury SUV, slotting between the Q3 and Q7 and taking on the BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC. The Q5's steering is well-weighted and its body control is tidy, making it genuinely enjoyable on a winding road. The ride is firm but composed, and the cabin stays quiet at highway speeds, which suits long trips. The cabin uses quality materials and offers comfortable front seats, though rear legroom and cargo space are tight for the class. Standard features include a 7-inch display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and forward collision warning with automatic braking. The Premium Plus adds Audi's virtual cockpit, navigation, a panoramic sunroof, and blind-spot monitoring over the base Premium. Its 2.0L I4 makes 248 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and all-wheel drive that delivers confident grip in all conditions; expect 24 mpg combined. Audi drive select lets you adjust throttle, steering, and suspension response, but the ride stays firm even in Comfort mode.
