Miles Overview
The Q3 is Audi's smallest SUV, a subcompact luxury crossover that seats five and competes with the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA. It's nimble in tight spots and easy to park, though it's not as engaging to drive as some rivals. The cabin feels upscale with quality materials, but rear legroom is tight and the high transmission tunnel makes it a strict four-seater. The infotainment system is top-notch, but some early models lack a simple USB port. The Premium is the trim most shoppers start with, and it gives you the same 2.0L engine and all-wheel drive as the pricier Prestige. Its 2.0L I4 makes 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, routed through a eight-speed automatic to all four wheels, and it returns 22 mpg combined. The Premium rides on standard 18-inch wheels, and the trade for the lower price is missing some driver-assist tech that comes on the Premium Plus.
