Miles Overview
The Metris is Mercedes-Benz's mid-size work van, the one you see hauling cargo and shuttling people around town. It drives with a car-like ease that surprises for a van, with a tight turning circle that makes city work a breeze. Inside, the cabin is straightforward and functional, with a tall roof and sliding doors that make loading and unloading easy. You get a choice of cargo or passenger configurations, and the flat floor and boxy shape swallow gear like nothing else. The Cargo trim skips the passenger seats and rear windows of the Vs20, giving you a bare-bones work van with a flat load floor and barn doors. The 2.0L I4 makes 208 horsepower and pairs with a nine-speed automatic, and the two-wheel drive setup returns 21 mpg combined. Load-Adaptive ESP and Crosswind Assist are standard here, helping keep the tall body stable when the cargo hold is full.
