Miles Overview
The Sprinter-Class is Mercedes' full-size van, the one that set the template for modern commercial vans with its tall roof and cavernous cargo bay. It drives with a commanding view of the road, and the steering is direct enough that you always know where the front wheels are pointed. The ride is firm when empty, but that stiffness pays off when you load it up and the van settles into a stable, sure-footed cruise. With its high roof and long wheelbase, you can stand up inside and haul full sheets of plywood flat on the floor. The 3500XD High Roof is the heavy-duty version of the Sprinter, offering more payload than the 4500 and a standard high roof that the base model lacks. Its 2.0L I4 makes 211 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, and the nine-speed automatic shifts smoothly whether you're empty or loaded to the roof. The 3500XD's suspension is tuned for heavy loads, so expect a firmer ride when the cargo bay is empty.
