Miles Overview
This is Mercedes-Benz's full-size van, the workhorse that also serves as a passenger hauler and camper base. It drives with a solid, planted feel that's unusual for a van, though the steering is light and a bit remote. Cargo space is cavernous, and the tall roof options let most adults stand up inside. The infotainment is straightforward, and the available 360-degree camera makes parking a long van much easier. Stepping up to the 2500 from the 1500 adds payload capacity and a higher GVWR, making it the better choice if you're hauling heavy loads regularly. The 2.0L I4 makes 188 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, routed through a nine-speed automatic to the rear wheels, and it's enough to move the van around town without feeling strained. This trim's standard 16-inch steel wheels and all-season tires are built for durability, not looks, so expect a utilitarian ride that's ready for work.
