Miles Overview
The Sprinter-Class is Mercedes-Benz's full-size van, the one that set the template for modern cargo and passenger vans. It drives like a heavy-duty truck, with a commanding view and a ride that's more about stability than comfort. You get a huge cargo area and a choice of high-roof bodies, so there's room for tall loads and long hauls. These vans are known for their robust construction, but rust and electrical gremlins can show up on older examples. Stepping up to the 3500XD High Roof gets you the heavy-duty chassis and 4WD capability that the base 3500XD models lack, making it the one for year-round traction. The 3.0L diesel and four-wheel drive mean you can haul a full load up a muddy ramp without breaking a sweat, though the automatic transmission shifts deliberately under heavy throttle. The High Roof body gives you enough standing height to walk down the aisle, and the 4WD system adds a low-range gearbox for serious off-road work.
